EyeSpy 20/20 Captures the Attention of NBC News

Two Arizonans are in the national spotlight for revolutionizing children's vision screenings!

The founders of VisionQuest 20/20, Dr. James O'Neil and Richard Tirendi, were featured recently on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. After telling far too many parents that their child suffered partial blindness that could have been prevented if detected sooner, Dr. O'Neil partnered with Tirendi to develop a solution. Since then, they developed a state-of-the-art vision screening system called EyeSpy 20/20™ that computerizes the entire vision screening process in a fun video game format designed to dramatically improve the accuracy, affordability and availability of preventive vision screenings for children.

NBC News producers recently came to Phoenix, Arizona, to visit Seville Prep Academy, part of Alhambra School District, where EyeSpy 20/20™ changed the life of one of its students. See how the boy and his mother - who just happens to be the school nurse - describe how the technology detected his amblyopia, a serious vision disorder, before it was too late.

Watch the NBC Nightly News story and learn how O'Neil and Tirendi are driven to help ensure millions of school children struggling with vision problems are identified by offering accurate annual vision screenings and referring them for the vision care they need.

VisionQuest 20/20 is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing the country's first nationwide vision screening program for children. Join us as champions of sight to help raise education and awareness about EyeSpy 20/20™ and the need for accurate children's vision screenings.
