Reindeer run

The 8th Annual, Lions Club Reindeer Run or Walk through downtown Wheaton starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7. The run is a CARA Emerging Race. The race is co-hosted by the Lions Club in conjunction with the Wheaton Park District. Money raised by the Lions Club is donated to help people with sight and hearing disabilities. The race is open to all ages.  Register as a single or a team (must be at least 4 team members).

Fees: $35 for individuals and $30 for a team of four. Price will increase to $40 for individuals and $35 for teams after November 7, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).

 

Online registration closing date: December 1, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).

Volunteers: Volunteers are essential to the success of the race. All volunteers receive a t-shirt and a breakfast. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Terri Lightbody at singingterbear@aol.com.

You Should Know

Wheaton Lions Club Events

Due to the Coronavirus and because of the “shelter in place” mandate, the decision has been made to CANCEL all Wheaton Lions Club events through the month of June. Once the “shelter in place” order is lifted we will reevaluate the lunch meeting schedule.


However, the Wheaton Lions Club announces that every Tuesday at noon, during the month of May and June, we will have a virtual guest speaker! See the Guest Lunch Speakers page for more info.
